Company forgot to list “Egg” on the label: recalls burritos

NuVue Foods of Hamtramck, MI is recalling approximately 268 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken burrito products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service .
The products contain egg, a known allergen, which was not declared on the product label.
The recalled RTE chicken burrito items were produced on October 31, 2018.
6-oz. individually wrapped packages of “18th Street Deli Chicken Burrito” bearing expiration dates of “EXP 11/12/18” and “EXP 11/14/2018.”

U.S. Marshals raid Arkansas food warehouse for widespread infestation

The U.S. Marshals Service has conducted a mass seizure of FDA-regulated products that were being held under unsanitary conditions in which they were exposed to a widespread rodent, insect and live animal infestation.
At the request of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration , the seizure occurred on Nov. 7 and 8 at J and L Grocery, LLC in Alma, AR.
